The fused glass tavern is handmade in our studio. For the shop windows we paint the bar and other details on clear glass. The bricks are painted on cream glass. The building trim, steps, signs and other details are painted and cut. It is fused in a kiln making the glass paint permanent. The shop will have a slightly raised texture. Hooks are fused into the piece and tiger wire is attached to hang it from. Each shop is individually handmade to create a one of a kind artwork.
A wooden box is made for the panel, it's nailed together and put into a cardboard box with packing peanuts.
